Unless asked about it, I will refrain from talking about my real life. It is simply not relevant. Note that I am of age (18+).

The same goes for when I clearly don't show any interest, can't hold a conversation about the series or clearly ask you if you can stop trying to convince me.Additionally, if the franchise is known for its insufferable community, consider me out. I have quit playing several games and watching several series — and being part of those communities myself — because of this.

Notable franchises I like:
Fate/Nasuverse (Type Moon)
(personal score: S tier)
The Type Moon franchise is one of the biggest and most popular franchises in Japan. It consists of many projects, such as the Fate series, Tsukihime, Mahoyo, and Kara no Kyoukai. I am personally the most invested in the Fate series, which is by far the most popular Type Moon work. The Nasuverse offers great stories with great characters, and I can’t help but like it a lot. Some people complain that it's hard to start with this franchise because of how big it is, to which I refer you to this Reddit post. With that being said, let’s rate each individual Type Moon project I have seen/watched/played:Fate/Zero
(2 seasons, 25 episodes) (2011-2012)
(personal score: S tier)
Fate/Zero is definitely more fighting-oriented compared to Fate/Stay Night, its “lore-wise sequel” (it’s a bit more complicated than that). I wouldn’t say that it is bad though, for I still like it a lot. The King of Banquets where the 3 Kings discuss the leadership and motives of one another was really great, and this Holy Grail War felt a lot bigger than the one of Stay Night. I do not like how chivalrous Artoria is here compared to Stay Night though, she is quite boring here. However, I feel like most of the Servants in this series more than make up for it.Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works
(2 seasons, 25 episodes) (2014-2015)
(personal score: A tier)
This is a very solid route in general, and Ufotable’s animation definitely doesn’t disappoint. What’s the most interesting here is the battle of ideals between Shirou and Archer and the idea of what being a hero of justice is. I also like the ending of this route, it is by far the best ending out of all the routes in Fate/Stay Night. That being said, I do have one complaint about this route: Shirou himself. He is just a bit stubborn in this route. I would like to preface the following though: Shirou does NOT have plot armor, because the anime only shows the good endings of the visual novel. There are over 40 bad endings there where Shirou ends up losing. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t being a fool in this route. Despite everything that he learns and that has been told to him, he doesn’t really change. But still, Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works is a good watch, and a good introduction to the Fate series. I will say though that you should start with the Fate route (the 2006 Studio DEEN anime) if it wasn’t for the fact that it is a very outdated anime. This doesn’t change the fact that DEEN’s adaptation of the Fate route is the most loyal to the visual novel out of the other animated routes.Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel
(3 movies) (2019-2021)
(personal score: S tier)
I may be a bit biased because this is my favorite route and Sakura is my favorite girl out of Saber and Rin, but this route is the most interesting and diverse one by far. I would like to say that this is not a great place to start Fate, as it is quite hard to understand if you haven’t seen the Fate route or Unlimited Blade Works. I myself had a hard time understanding most of what happened at first, but years later when I rewatched it, everything just snapped piece by piece. The story flows well, this route shows the best iteration of Shirou in my opinion because he actually undergoes change here and gives more attention to characters who barely got screen time (at least in Unlimited Blade Works) such as Sakura, Rider, Illya and Kirei. I just like this route a lot (the animation is also lwk hella fire)Fate/Grand Order
(mobile gacha game) (2015-ongoing)
(story score: S tier, overall score: B+/A- tier)
Oh Fate/Grand Order, one of the most controversial Type Moon works right after Fate/Kaleid Liner. This game is infamous for its terrible gacha, outdated UI, but most importantly its good story. FGO starts out fairly weak despite that, because the game used to be nothing more but a cashgrab. They didn’t really bother making compelling stories and instead used the game to make money and to promote their other works by putting one character each in the spotlight (like how Singularity 2 was all about Nero Claudius, most likely to promote Fate/Extra CCC). However, once they noticed that people were still invested in the game, they decided to get Kinoko Nasu to write for them from Singularity 6 and onward, which drastically improved the storytelling. The characters are also a massive selling point for this game, because haven’t it been for the famous Fate IP, this game would have died in less than a year. FGO has a wide roster of interesting characters, but this does leave a problem being that most characters are quite irrelevant aside from event stories. Still though, the story and characters are great. Fate/Grand Order is an everlasting game that is still expanding its story, and it is by far the biggest Fate project out there.Side note, FGO isn’t all bad aside from the story and the characters. It is a very balanced game, the gameplay isn’t all too bad (at least for me, I have played worse) and although the earlier levels of each chapter (Singularity, Lostbelt, etc.) can be repetitive, the boss fights are, especially in the later chapters of the story, pretty interesting.Ongoing: FGO, Tsukihime
Planning: Kara no Kyoukai, Mahoyo
